As they sifted through the wreckage of their defeats, they found no easy answers as to why voters so decisively rejected their candidates.
This made me smile.
“As they sifted through the wreckage of their defeats, they found no easy answers as to why voters so decisively rejected their candidates.”
The reason there are no easy answers is because they do not look at reality. They make up their idea of reality and then deal with that.
For example: Abortion. They would say Trump’s Supreme Court took away Roe v. Wade and a women’s “right to choose”. So, we must vote for people, like Kamala, who will reinstate Roe v. Wade.
There are so many false premises. They first try to convince women that abortion is women’s health care and then they say it has been taken away. Not true. It’s simply been moved locally to the states. So they tell a young family they must vote for abortion, yet the family’s real, immediate issues are price of gas, groceries and housing and the husband’s job has been lost to illegal aliens.
So, clearly the parents say if all you got is abortion, which is not a problem or issue for us, then we’re voting for the guy who says he’s fixing the economy and the border.
