I personally think the elitist sneering contempt for regular Americans coming from the Democrat Party, the media, Hollywood, etc. had a significant impact on voters. Every person on this planet understands what it feels like to be disliked and condescended to.

Nobody likes being called garbage, racist, Nazis, deplorable, bitter clingers, ignorant ... and that came across in full and blazing technicolor from the Left.

In a growing economy plumbers, electricians and HVAC workers will be the new millionaires while the idiots with their degrees in peace studies and gender intersectionality will be serving lattes.
