I had open heart surgery 4 weeks ago. It hurts to laugh. The left wing meltdown is killing me.
God bless you. Here's hoping you have a quick and complete recovery. My youngest son, 53 years of age was recently diagnosed with heart problems. Was admitted to the hospital a week ago with congestive heart failure, was discharged the next day. Returned to the ER the next day with abdominal pain, and diagnosed with an internal abdominal hernia and blockage. They operated on Saturday, having to do a resection to get rid of the hernia and blockage. After recovery he was put in ICU because of his heart rate being high. He had two a-fib episodes in ICU. They moved him to a regular room yesterday afternoon, and he had another a-fib episode today. They've been gradually raising his cardizem drip when they occur. We have an appointment for tests with the Heart Clinic at Rochester New York Regional Hospital in December. Back in 2019 he had colon cancer, and had two resections then with six months of chemo therapy. He was given his 5 year cancer-free status in July. The kid can't get a break.
