OK, The Great Compromise was formed when the Constitution was written as the states felt they were not represented well enough, these officials were to represent their perspective states, not a political party. This did not last long and has evolved to what we see today as ‘The Great Compromisers’ sell out this country by “compromising.” With Cornyn, Thune, McConnell in the running for leader the majority GOPe senate is just half the uniparty. Do not expect the senate to improve anything in this country with the possible exception of them pushing through Trump’s picks that need senate conformation. Nothing on the fiscal side.
