JD is most impressive!
I hope he gets 8 years on his own!

A word of caution: Warren G Harding was the first senator to defeat a governor (of his own state of Ohio) for the presidency. A century later, Biden was the first candidate lacking executive experience to defeat a sitting president’s reelection bid.It is of course true that VP is notoriously a position with no power; the present VP is of course in the unique position of being important in the (narrowly split) Senate and in the position in which if she were a “stand up guy” who was respected by the Biden cabinet she would have long since have pulled the plug on the Biden presidency.
History suggests that J.D. could win the presidency in four years - but his odds wouldn’t be good if he were opposed by a popular governor. Nixon is an example of a senator/VP who won the presidency - but he defeated a man who was also a former senator/VP.
That would make him 52 at the end of his second term. Then off to the Supreme Court for THIRTY YEARS!
As a retired US Marine Major, I’ve been watching JD since his selection. Vance will go down as THE BEST VP pick ever!
I loved his “Infiltration On The Tarmac” with Harris’ Reporter Pool and “Air Force 2!” Vance walked up said he would answer any questions they might have and then said he wanted to see the aircraft which was going to be “his” in a few months.
The Art of War - Sun Tzu: “Be where the enemy isn’t.” Priceless!
