Let it be.
thanx. i stand corrected.
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.
Two terms or two years + one term. No more. It does not prevent him from running as JD Vance's Veep, and assuming office when JD resigns immediately afterwards. Might be tricky because in order to elected VEEP you need to be eligible to be president.
“Give Vance a Chance!”
That would make him 52 at the end of his second term. Then off to the Supreme Court for THIRTY YEARS!
All well and good - but the bottom line will always be that the buck stops in the WH, and the POTUS will always get the credit/blame, not the VP.IMHO it’s an intractable problem - if the Democrats nominate an effectual governor in opposition.
As a retired US Marine Major, I’ve been watching JD since his selection. Vance will go down as THE BEST VP pick ever!
I loved his “Infiltration On The Tarmac” with Harris’ Reporter Pool and “Air Force 2!” Vance walked up said he would answer any questions they might have and then said he wanted to see the aircraft which was going to be “his” in a few months.
The Art of War - Sun Tzu: “Be where the enemy isn’t.” Priceless!
“JD / Tulsi”
I like it :)
