Vitamin C had more side effects, but both vitamin C and human platelet extract containing–platelet exosomes (HPE) did as well as intense pulsed light therapy.
HPE is available and one form goes by the name “Renewosome.”
I’d consider the vitamin C and sunscreen while using it.
