It could be a threat if one believes Lee Oswald was sent by Soviet backers (or Cuban) to kill JFK. It could be analysis if one believes that JFK was killed by forces within the CIA-govt realm as it existed in 1963.
Key would be what medvedev believes happened in 1963, and I don’t know which of those two he believes. (I would say more likely deep state than Soviets but I didn’t make the comment). If anyone knows any details of Soviet-Cuban involvement it would be Putin.
It was a veiled threat to Trump hinting Putin has an Oswald ready and waiting if Trump tries to stop Putin’s invasion.
