Hoover Institute Senior Fellow Victor Davis Hanson said Friday on his podcast that he believes Democrats are feeling more depressed and angry than usual because they fear they could be losing.
Polls between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have tightened with fewer than five days until Election Day. On “The Victor Davis Hanson Show,” the senior fellow called out a recent take from CNN’s senior reporter Harry Enten for claiming election polling could be underestimating Harris and noted that her campaign has shifted its resources from North Carolina to Virginia in search of a path to 270 electoral votes.
“My point is that I think that’s a standard response when they look at those internal polls. Now, why would I say that? They wouldn’t be shifting resources from North Carolina to Virginia,” Hanson said. “They’re ahead in Virginia, but if they were shifting resources from North Carolina to Virginia, then it would be because they’re behind in Virginia and they’re ahead, so far ahead in North Carolina, they don’t need it.”
“No, they’re shifting it because they’re behind in North Carolina, and their internal polls say they can’t win it. And I mean, internal polls that are specific, Latino groups, black groups, Asian women, men,” Hanson added. “They don’t have the numbers that they need to win that. So then they look at Virginia, and they have an alternate pathway to 270 and Virginia is absolutely central. While they’re still ahead, at the rate they’re losing in seven days, they will lose that state. So they’re putting resources in there.”

“It’s certainly close enough to cheat.”

Could be, but the Left’s tactics are more well known this time making it a little harder for them to stretch the rules, as it were. Not saying they won’t, just that more eyes are on them now. Lara Trump said last night that the RNC has plenty of legal teams at the ready.
I say that because someone unearthed an old interview she did when Obama was running for president. She said she goes to the temple daily to pray for him. Christian churches don’t have temples. The Hindu religion has temples for worship. And she use to make a big production for being of Indian ethnicity, never, never a word about supposed black heritage.
Hopefully they’ll be much better than all those “Release The Kraken” losers from four years ago.
LOL. How true.
Maybe one day the Repukes will wake up and defund the PBS propaganda machine. Prolly never happen, but fun to think about.

Well, that’s interesting. At least she’s not a Muslim like Obama.
Tulsi is Hindu, I have no problem with that.
The numbers don’t lie.
Let's hope their is plenty if shrieking going on.
I sure hope so. I feel a little better about Lara Trump running things.
They got the guns
Well, but we got the numbers
Gonna win, yeah
We’re takin’ over
Come on!
I had found that. It lays out party for state wide, but not for county by county. That reddit post had party affiliation for the early votes county by county. I’m trying to confirm he was not bogus.
You know, you’re right! I’ve only seen a defeatist post on the topic of cheating at least 500 times this year. Why aren’t we discussing that “elephant in the room.”
Sheesh
Sorry, I don’t get the point of your post.
If you scroll down you should see the county by county stuff.
Also in the box “show __ entries” you probably want to put in the largest possible number if you are not finding the counties you are looking for....
On second thought, that reddit post was party affiliation for early votes region by region, not county by county.
Portions of cities and portions of suburbs.
Where did he get that? It looked like a lot of work and hard to imagine he did that to troll.
Just reinforcing your excellent post.
Party affiliation is a different issue for PA.
I see the 2024 data (total) but I have not seen any detail for party affiliation by county or “region” (whatever that is)—now or for 2020.
In some states I have seen different (private) groups who keep track of voter party registration data in all precincts and who is shown as early voting by party—but I do not know where to find that for PA.
It probably exists somewhere—they should have indicated their data source.
I would imagine both the national and state parties can and do track this stuff internally.
I’m retired now, but I used to conduct polls for political candidates.
I’m trying to find any metric that shows the Democrats performing better this cycle than 2020. Maybe it’s out there, but I haven’t seen it.
Republicans, on the other hand, are greatly outperforming their 2020 numbers almost across the board. More importantly, the polls show us with a huge lead among those who intend to vote on election day as well.
As long as our voters don’t flake out on Tuesday, Trump should win by a margin greater than the cheat.
“Christian churches don’t have temples.” False. Many Christian churches, mostly black, have temple in their names.
