At age 25, I had a BS degree in physics, a handful of years experience working in industry, my own residence, a fiancee ... In other words, I was a fully functional adult and had been for a few years, beginning when I was still a university student.
We need to quit infantilizing our grown-up sons and daughters.
1) Those campus reform videos are edited for entertainment's sake.
2) Those students aren't stupid. They're deliberately miseducated by evil people in the government-education complex.

Time WAS, the highest compliment a person could pay you would be to asy that you were a student and an educated person

I knew I was Republican at the age of 17, voting age then was 21, when Lying Lyndon Johnson said he would not send American Boys to SE ASIA to fight a war Asian boys should be fighting.
When he was elected, he proceeded to send Americans to die in SE Asia. Now at the age of 78 I have NEVER voted for a democrat candidate.
And they vote!
Bottom line is, to win a national election, you have to win the stupid vote.
What’s never revealed is how many students gave correct, thoughtful and insightful comments and observations.
Did they talk to 100 students to get 10 dumb, deer-in-the-headlights looks and comments? Or was this the first 10 they talked to?

I don’t know the answer ... I suspect that they cherry-pick the idiots for entertainment value. If they do, it’s unfortunate ... that would present a distorted view.

Generally speaking, the human brain is not fully developed until age 25. The last part to develop is the part that gets you to consider the consequences of your actions.
And yes, it is a “general” thing.
Regarding stupid vs evil. I consider the under 25 leftists to be “stupid and easily led. The older ones just had their development stunted in some way. But then there is a small group that are, indeed, evil. I give you that.
BTW, one of the girls I went to high school with went on to become a brain surgeon. She was one of the exceptions.
