I don’t think you can say that all Democrats have exactly the same motivations. I think the ones at the top are evil because they know that what they are doing is wrong or illegal, but they do it anyway because they are hungry for power.
You’ve got people under them who have been brainwashed throughout school and almost can’t help what has become their worldview.
Some people truly feel they are doing the right thing and want to correct what they feel are societal wrongs. They think the government is the answer, not personal responsibility.
Others don’t really pay attention to politics because they are occupied by entertainments.
Some are lazy or greedy and want to take advantage of the system, and the Democrat party lets them do that. It hands out freebies and barely punishes crime.
Some have chips on their shoulder and are bitter because they are always looking in the rearview mirror and can only think of how their group was treated badly in the past and are now owed reparations. They are not given hope for the future but only fed with hatred.
I would say that underlying most everything is the lack of a spiritual foundation. Democrats have removed God from schools and the marketplace, so they don’t have a belief in something as basic as the 10 Commandments. They have no qualms about cheating in school or in elections, for example, because there is no God to answer to (they think).
I watched part of Shapiro’s circular firing squad debate with the children the other night. I was reminded that unless you start from some common precepts taught to you when you were a child the debate can’t go anywhere, instead, it truly is a circle of spurious nonsensical ideological arguments about opinion straying far from facts. Some of the principles you begin with are: The Constitution is the way our government is supposed to run Electoral College and all. We are all Americans first and not groups of groups or tribes with our own separate and distinct representation as called for by some of the children. Children don’t get to run things, adults do that. We don’t agree to lying, cheating, stealing or killing outside of war or conflict in any way. We uphold the Ten Commandments. We uphold the Golden Rule. Too many have never been taught these things. Too many have parented without adhering to the idea of Proverbs 22:6. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
