Why is Bella such a common name now for dogs?
Is the name from some Lifetime movie?

"Why is Bella such a common name now for dogs?"I've noticed that too. Weird, isn't it? The only thing I associate with "Bella" is that old hag witch feminazi, the late Bella Abzug.

My wife named our last dog Bella. SHe was a 3/4 Rat Terrier 1/4 Chihuahua mix. She liked the name. Our current dog is named Josie, and we got her on the Feast of St. Joseph.

Bella was the name of the main character in the Twilight movies. I noticed many dogs named Bella in my neighborhood after that first movie came out.

(Who knew "Idiocracy", "1984", "Enemy of the State", and "Person of Interest" would be non-fiction?)
