The writing system of the Mayans wasn’t cracked for a long while, so that held that back a bit. I used to generate calendar glyphs using the old-school Mac OS version of Chac, which has been superseded, I believe there’s also an iPhone version:

I have a belt buckle I bought mid 1970s in Lincoln Park, Chicago, of the front of the Aztec Calendar Wheel. It was cast by a company in Wisconsin. I can’t wear it because the stud on the back that slips into the belt holes broke off. I would love to wear it again, the detail on it is exquisite. Need to get it fixed.
