The Black Knight and Darth Vader were our only two trick-or-treaters last night. The only item bought specifically for this year's costumes is the knight's helmet as everything else was already on-hand or made by our son.

Interesting that today’s kids prefer Batman to Superman. Batman sees the dark side , while Superman always seemed to be caught off guard by evil. One of my grands was also Batman. I think it’s an encouraging development. Like Batman, they are affected by evil, but choose to fight it. Hope!
