Even the Tennessee Valley Authority, that government agency that is only federal when it suits upper management, has a bunch of DEI BS going on. They even have some sort of diversity officer (and you just know that it isn't a white male, because we are the enemy these days).
Interestingly, we had an internal 'anonymous' survey about a year ago about inclusion and diversity. As I'm close to retirement and don't need to be PC any more, I answered quite honestly. More or less, I told them that this DEI nonsense was designed to include everyone .... but ME! I am fully aware that these anonymous surveys are most likely NOT anonymous, but at this point, I don't really care.
When we had a management briefing a few months later, and went over the results of the survey, they chose to NOT mention any of my comments. Wonder why...
