RFK Jr. OUTLINES HIS PLANS TO ELIMINATE PHARMACEUTICAL ADS ON TV
Jay Bhattacharya, an NIH critic, emerges as a top candidate to lead the agency
The Stanford physician was excoriated by NIH’s director in 2020 for his “fringe” ideas on covid. Four years later, he’s poised for power in Trump’s Washington.
That would be a big ol’ slice of Heaven.
But would that mean the ATTENTION! MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES! commercials would run even more than they do now?
It’s bit my butz for a long time that the pill peddlers can advertise on the TV, etc, but the hard likker guys can’t. Then it’s bit even harder when they do the super fast disclaimers about side effects and the rest of the legalese. At the least they shouldn’t be allowed to use the air waves to broadcast mumbo jumbo at un-intelligible speeds. While I’m in no way a big regulation guy these geniuses need to be called out. And there’s no way I’d buy a pill that’s advertised on radio/TV.
