When I look at appointments like Hegseth and Gaetz along with open talk of going through the Pentagon with a scythe, I can’t help but think that Trump is daring the Deep State and the Military Industrial Complex to so something rash, like launch a coup or assassination attempt. He’s pushing very hard for some kind of reaction.
