I meant to congratulate you on your wonderful achievement. Very well done! I know you had been enjoying the game less with your troubles, and I hope this has changed that for you. Imagine the abused and helpless children. Somehow, it changes our focus to outward, and trivial pursuits don’t seem as important. Oddly, in golf, it makes the game more fun and, in some cases, easier, if you can get to that place in your mind.
Thanks. I get it. I don’t go there often...my “happy place”...best round I ever had in my life i was playing with three guys I hadn’t seen in 20+ years and golf was just the mechanism to get together for some chuckles and grins.

We were/I was. Dreams are sometimes just that ... only in our imaginations. It remains to be seen, and I understand that some people aren’t meant to do the hard jobs. I want to believe that Gowdy isn’t one of those, but I waffle. We may find out that’s exactly what he’s been up to. After all, what better cover than to fade into, ostensibly, private obscurity (with his qualifications ... seriously?), but secretly be working/preparing to prosecute treason cases in Guantanamo?

The most disappointing thing about formerly “conservative” anchors/media people is that it forces me to think about what they might have done to be blackmailed to pretend to be one way, which I think was their true/natural being, to being coerced to speak against their real beliefs. It’s either that or they were duplicitous from the get-go. Both are troublesome to my mind.
I like the warning about not getting a jab if you are allergic to the ingredients. Who reads a list of ingredients and then has allergy tests for every ingredient before getting a shot? It sounds like a CYA provision to protect big pharma from liability.

You are so right! I’m one of the people who have lots of allergies. While I enjoy generally good health (very good blood pressure, no deadly diseases that I’m aware of, good cholesterol, etc.), I have a multitude of allergies ... food, plant, environmenta;, etc. I attribute it to my parents each being two-pack-a-day smokers, but who knows, really?
I’m allergic to a lot of things but, mercifully, my worst reaction to every allergy is that my sinuses fill up completely and drain down the back of my throat (post-nasal drip), and I cough afterwards so I don’t feel like I’m drowning. Coughing in the post-covid era makes everyone look at me like I have leprosy. Yiyiyi!
I was never going to get the covid jabs because I’ve never had the flu (that I’m aware of) and never took the annual flu shots, so why would I take this particular flu shot? But my many allergies probably would have persuaded me to avoid the covid shots to avoid an adverse reaction to known environmental and food (egg) allergies. My current theory is that, if our food producers stopped using antibiotics in their agricultural processes, my allergies might go away.
I’m very invested in what RFK Jr. might accomplish during his governance. I completely understand that producers often, if not always, use antibiotics to protect the health of their herd. That’s unlikely to change very soon in spite of his efforts. RFK Jr. will have his hands full protecting humans from big pharma, let alone the animals that we eat. I can dream though 🙂
