The Deep State is not very well-defined.

It is usually thought of as the generalized government bureaucracy. This would be people who in Washington DC have formed a collective attitude about life and share those opinions among themselves without any overarching organization. They merely all think the same and will act make those shared opinions and attitudes take place.

An example would be a zeal strike. This is when orders come down from the Administration to do something they do not approve of and one of the counters would be to, in a very zealous way, follow every regulation to the most intricate levels of detail that ensure nothing can happen. All organizational energy would be consumed by following regulations leaving no energy to actually do what they were told to do.

That would be a method by which the Deep State can obstruct.

But this is not some dark array of unnamed senior civil servants who hold a secret meeting to plan how to destroy the Administration. They would not need such a meeting.

The mechanisms that will prevent the new Administration from implementing its agenda are far less convoluted than the Deep State. First and foremost there is the debt.

For over 10 years since Bernanke saved civilization by initiating the creation of whimsical money by the trillions, this has gone on. QE did not shut off for well over 10 years, and Congress and the presidency signed on to similar magnitudes of deficit.

Consequences have been evaded for nearly all of that time. Inflation did not appear until just a couple of years ago and that money printing was going on for 10 years before that. There was no inflation during those 10 years.

But now that debt is out there. No one will want to deal with it. The two trillion dollar deficit that is in place is the only thing that keeps the economy solvent. That money is poured into the economy and everyone thinks that the stock market goes up and capitalism is vindicated and it’s all absurd. It’s all government spending of money that is created from nothingness.

It is that which the new Administration will have to address. No one wants to think about it or talk about it because there is no answer.

So you don’t really have to imagine the amorphous Deep State as the great enemy of society. We created our own enemy and we will not defeat it.

At this point, I think a lot of people, including myself, see the Deep State as being the intelligence agencies, both domestic and foreign, as least in as far as the hands-on dirty work goes. The intelligence agencies control the media, Hollywood, and most of our politicians through Epstein-type shenanigans.

As far as who is giving the orders to these agencies, I couldn't say for sure, but if I had to wager I'd say it was the people who are so rich that their names aren't even known.
