New!
Is it difficult to find this bread? What is the brand name? Thanks!
Hey, panacea!!
WHOOPEE!!!!
Oddly, I don’t do ‘low carb’ and I’m just peachy.
I must be Martian. /s
Agreed. I returned from a four week cruise during which I gained twenty pounds. I went on a diet which severely restricts sugars, simple carbs, and booze and lost those twenty pounds in less than a month. Sugar is poison.
I suggest the keto diet as something she should perhaps try...but she refuses.
I explain that carbs are sugar in the blood stream and sugar is the killer, but...you know how stubborn people can be.;-)
So they didn’t eat fruit?
Too low carb and you have low fibre and can’t back one out. And then your system will be worse off.
Eat as healthy unprocessed food as pplossible. Get plenty of fibre and water and stop worrying about macros
Fruit was only available at certain times of the year, gathering. Then it’s back to hunting...........
This, plus walking put me in diabetic remission for over a year now. The day I found out I had T-2 diabetes, I made a 180° lifestyle change. They put me on meds and I was off of them in 7 weeks. I’ve also lost 80+ pounds. Also, my morning fasting blood sugar is usually around 78. Much lower than I’ve ever had it in my life.
Ya don’t say...(who woulda thunk it?)
They call it type three diabetes. Search YouTube you will find lots of info on it.
Thanks
That’s why fasting also works: you’ve eliminated all the foods that could be causing the problem(s) — and often works, when nothing else will. Then you just start back slowly eating foods that don’t seem to be the problem.
Alzheimers - diabetes, type 3

There are many more articles refering to Alzeheimers as “also known as” Type 3 diabetes.
Thanks. Hadn’t run across Rockefeller’s involvement in medicine. My doctor looks for answers first.
LOL. Looks like your research echoes mine.
Thanks
Headline has been common knowledge for decades.
What did this ‘study’ cost, and who paid for it?
No shucks, Sherlock.
My dear friend was in trouble with her borderline Type 2 diabetes — top of the range. She was prescribed some drug to get it under control, but decided to do serious low carb with her diet.
She quickly dropped about 20 pounds, and within six months her levels were under control, and labs were great.
Two years later breast cancer took her. 😢
