There is no scenario in which that happens. The electors vote on December 19 (I think). The constitution requires electors to meet in every state at the same time. If a state doesn’t decide its electors by then too bad so sad, those that do will decide the election. And if by some miracle there is no majority on January 6 2025, the (new) congress will decide the president and vice president.
I don’t think its going to go that smoothly this time. We are likely headed for a constitutional crisis.
