I’m not sure what they are driving at with this study. Of course hormonal levels will change during pregnancy. That’s how it works, I suppose. So they discovered one reaction. And what is its import? To make more babies? Healthier babies? Fewer babies? I’d guess that once a woman is pregnant it will adjust to replace estrogen as part of the process to protect the baby. But that’s just my layman’s guess in the dark.
