Opera in the old days had multi-tab rows - but not since 2008-ish. Opera was eventually sold to some china firm. (I Don't know who owns it now) Vivaldi was developed by the same people who developed Opera...go figure.

Opera went to the Chromium base, same as Vivaldi.

Indeed it has, since I provided you that link! Bless God.

thanks. Sorry.
duh me...I didn't much pay attention, as I said, I wished I'd have followed the thread more closely, I would have saved some time.
I never clicked on that link cause i already knew Vivaldi stacked tabs.
When Opera adios-ed Presto, I adios-ed Opera.
I was with Opera from the get-go. We had to pay for it back then...even when beta testing.. It could run from a 1.44 floppy.
Those days were kinda exciting. Worked on a project that decoupled Internet Explorer from Win98...at the same time Microsoft said it couldn't be done.

Now i mostly don't care about any of that anymore (After 30 odd years in Data Processing... I just want it to work ).

I'm about to adios firefox and kill Edge.

Thanks again
