It’s not just NASA, since all the SpaceX launches are broadcast live, you have to think China, Russia, and every other country with a space program is watching.
Recycling the rocket boosters is a huge cost saving something every country would want to do.
So far, no country has been able to duplicate what SpaceX has been doing for a number of years, today took that to an entirely new level.
My point, if landing rocket boosters and reusing them was easy every other country would be doing it, so far none of them have successfully done it, although I suspect every one of them has tried it.
