Sadly, things such as that are no longer far-fetched.
It seems also no supplies are coming in to West Central FL either in the aftermath of Milton. During Irma the next morning there was gas at the stations. Now, we haven’t been able to find any gas from Land o Lakes westward for a day. Generators need fuel. No fuel, no electric, no sanitation, no internet, no cellular (over congested).
Anyone remember LBJ? People returning from Viet Nam landed and then took off again. The inference was that they were going there. Made the POTUS cry.
