Possible but I doubt it. God already gave us warnings He told us in no uncertain terms how to be prepared for His coming and what will happen to those that fail to heed His word.

Comets, asteroids, astral alignment these are all interesting things but they are distractions from the word of God. God has spoken, those words were written down for all to read and follow why do you now need a pretty ball of ice in the sky to warn or to teach…you don’t.

Pagan folk did this for millennia - it’s a human response (aka, human sin nature) to attempt to divine the future using natural phenomena around them.

It’s why you still have primitive isolated tribes more than willing to attack an outside visitor is someone in their village gets sick or dies - the same process of assigning blame and cause on the unusual.

Has there been a covenant of death with Israel yet?

The "covenant of death" with Israel will be made by the antichrist, also known as the "man of sin" or "beast" in biblical prophecy.

In the last seven years before the establishment of God's eternal kingdom, the antichrist will make a covenant or agreement with the nation of Israel (Dan 9:27). This covenant will provide a false sense of security and peace, but it will ultimately lead to Israel's persecution and tribulation.

The antichrist, empowered by Satan, will break this covenant halfway through the seven-year period and turn against Israel, persecuting them and setting up his own abominations in the temple (Dan 9:27, Matt 24:15, 2 Thess 2:3-4).
