As you know, Buzbee did not donate his tank to Texas A&M. He loaned it to A&M as long as they maintained it.
His HOA never tried to get him to remove his tank from being parked in front of his house because it was operable at the time, so he wasn’t violating any HOA rule. Aside from that, I don’t think any HOA would want to take on Buzbee.
I’m a native, and live in the Houston area.
Buzbee put that tank on a ranch/area where people can rent it and fire it.

The first salvo was fired by the HOA, who sent Buzbee a certified letter stating he had to remove the tank. Because the letter upset him so much, he decided to do nothing just to see what the HOA would do about it. Then he started getting parking tickets and citations for the tank, even though he had cleared its position with the Houston Police Department.
