It does sadly though have potential to make kids dumber than dumb as they turn to ai to do their homework for them
It could help the kids learn more if they paid attention to what the ai wrote, but most kids won’t pay attention and will just skim the written articles and change things here and there so it doesn’t sound too artifically created.
But yes, ai can and is very helpful in some cases- and a real time saver too for certain applications.
It shows they cannot discern between ‘good and evil’...........hmm, where have I seen that before, sounds familiar...............
They’re programmed to take sides, and the programmers are leftists.
As one poster said the AI scans the internet as if it was all true information, then forms an idea or solution based on that data whether it’s good or not. Since the vast majority of ‘information sources’ are liberal infested outlets, the dat is inherently slanted to the left and in many cases the far, far left.
So it’s no wonder the AI becomes a far left whack job, just like your child being sent to a university with at far left administration and agenda, then four years later you cannot recognize your own child......................
Hang on to those books folks, because you may not be able to trust anything you read online in short order.
It would be fairly simple for a programmer to add a ‘fact check’ loop to find refutations of every assertion, left or right, and eventually make the AI a ‘zero sum’. Weighting the responses as to their probable authenticity and balancing that against know falsehoods.................
“Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.”
Frank Herbert, Dune
Great movie. :)
