I wonder how they divvy it up. Based on longevity with the band? Based on number of songs you wrote? Based on whether you were a founding member? Based on which instrument you played? Based on your popularity with the fans? Based on how much trouble and turmoil you caused? If somebody joined for only a few years after their popularity peaked, does that person get a small cut?
I could see a real challenge calculating who gets what amount.
I wonder if they agreed on how the pie would be sliced before it came out of the oven?

Songwriting credits generally. In order: Waters, Gilmour, Wright and Mason. With Waters and Gilmour way ahead. Wright is deceased, so it would be his estate, and Mason only had writing credits for a few songs.
