Conservative commentator Jonah Goldberg thinks Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s “increasingly repugnant rhetoric” as the 2024 election enters its home stretch may actually be a deliberate ploy.
And Goldberg suggested how it could pay off for the former president in the race against Democratic rival Kamala Harris.

Yes, there should be a barf alert whenever a headline calls someone like Jonas Goldberg a conservative.
aka “JarJar Fatberg”
The main reason I voted for Donald Trump is 2016 was because of his so-called “repugnant rhetoric,” because repugnant rhetoric it is not. It’s called the hard truth, and a certain class of people, not just RATS, but even people on FR can’t handle the truth, the way President Trump gives it. They get all squishy in the knees, and whine about it. We’ve got plenty of snowflakes right here on FR, who would prefer their Presidential candidates to act like scolded puppies, and sit in a corner with their tail between their legs, with their heads hung down, not saying BOO when attacked.
Jonah, do you still have a FR account?

There were a number of “conservative” personalities from National Review that went down hill real fast after they announced they were against Trump. Names like:
Thomas Sowell
Mona Charen
Cal Thomas
Brent Bozell
Eric Ericson
John Podhoretz
They never recovered. It was career suicide.
In 2020, Sowell wrote that if the Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election, it could signal a point of no return for the United States, a tipping point akin to the fall of the Roman Empire.
I used to like the guy too.
If someone ever debated Jonah, he should hold up his book “Liberal Fascism” with the classic smiley face of Adolf on the cover and say, ‘You know you should read this book sometimes Mr. Goldberg.”
Sure wonder what happened to him.
The book is a classic.
Wonder if he has a comet pizza problem.
Goldberg is such a scumbag I don’t even want to know what he thinks.
“conservative” jonah goldberg ... yeah, right ... try piece of shite, TDS Trump hater
So well said…
Why can’t it be both?
