From the CBS article, “A more typical longshoreman's salary can exceed $100,000, but not without logging substantial overtime hours. Daggett, the ILA president, maintains that these higher earners work up to 100 hours a week.”

Well working 100 hours a week is not what most do to earn a living.

Bottom line I think Joe screwed up to allow this strike 5 weeks before the election! This could change a lot of voters’ mind when the cost increases, reduced options in purchasing and some losing their jobs starts.

I doubt the strike would have much of a noticeable impact by election day. That said, if the strike continues to inauguration day then there is a big problem.
