“I resolved that if we were ever attacked with nuclear weapons I want it to land dead on me.“

One of my extra duties as a Platoon Leader was NBC Officer for my battery. I concur with your opinion.

Seems I had an affinity for that role. A few stories interesting only to me, lol. It did get me a week in Oberammergau, at the NATO School. “Personal Study Time” on Wednesday afternoon was a bus tour of Neuschwanstein, the Linderhof, and the Wies Cathedral.

I liked 1-3, though each season was a little worse than theone before. But did you see Season 4? FIre the creator, hire a girl-boss latina to do lesbians in the snow? Awful, and woke!

Definitely “Band of Brothers”, especially Episode 9 “Why We Fight”. No combat, but great television.

Luz was my favorite character....

This was right before they discovered the camp.

Sadly no. It was an off year. Life keeps getting in the way, no regrets.

My travels now are limited to semiannual trips to Fredericksburg and the Texas Hill Country.

Oberammergau is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

The writing was good I just think the addition of too much “Anglo-Saxon” words were an distraction.
