The quotes are from Melania’s book. The quotes do claim to be authentic.

We will know soon enough. I shared the thought that she does not want Trump to be president. The timing was not a good sign.

It has hurt her all over the Christian internet. It has also hurt Trump among a few Catholics, who polled that they would not be voting at all, this November.

I made the argument against splitting the baby in half, before they will dislodge from abortion as their only issue, but the cost of not voting will fall upon the loss of a nation laid into the hands of the demonics, who intend to depopulate America of Americans.

This leaked some time ago. It sounds very radical, founded mainly a woman’s right to her body.

Saying these things, she self-excommunicates herself. Saying this publicly, from her high position of influence, is remedied in the Church only by a likewise public confession of repentance.

She is probably a lonely woman, and different from the Christian wives of the colonists and Founding Fathers— the traditional, selfless sorts and deeply devout, in order to survive the founding.

” It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government,” she writes in her upcoming book, according to the Guardian, which obtained a pre-release copy.”

— Attributed to Melania Trump’s “memoir”.

All that’s missing is about what restrictions, if any, that Melania might deign to consider. 🤔

This may have been a calculated decision to release this wretched opinion, before the election, to counter the Left, who are making Abortion a top issue, reportedly calling this the “Abortion Election”.

Otherwise Melania herself, lost a lot of chips among traditional Catholics. and

23 of 76 respondents reacted early in one Catholic poll, say they will not vote for Trump.

Hard to believe they can mean that, really. But what if they do??

Conservatives are in no mood for indulging one more defection to the death culture, least of all in a public pronouncement from our nominee’s wife.

Sad day. An unnecessarily harshly hedonistic conclusion.
Perhaps there was more context. I didn’t even read the rest
of Solomon’s column to see if there was lipstick added to this declaration.

Re: Melania’s position on abortion
________________________________________

It’s disappointing, but my recollection is that every First Lady since I’ve been alive has supported abortion. Nancy Reagan never spoke against her husband in public about it while he was President, but she later stated that, while she personally opposed abortion (I assume as a choice for herself), she supported a woman’s right to choose. I don’t think there’s anything new or different here.
