I spent my entire childhood through adolescence barefoot except to school and when it was cold. Now where I live the ground is too rough with pokey things to walk around barefoot plus my feet aren’t tough like they used to be. But we NEVER wear outside shoes in the house, and if not cold I’m barefoot.
