As I recall it seems like ‘51 Chevy guy was most likely scouring the voter log book for people who hadn’t voted. He had about two weeks to work. Out of the 200 new ballots only something like two were for the Repub. Kind of a Nork result? The Repub could have protested but he just threw up his hands-—or something.

I think our local clerks have always been straight—sort of a “30 cal. fear syndrome?”
