Shingrix is not an mRNA vaccine. It’s what’s known as a non-live “recombinant” vaccine and is made by combining modified DNA from the virus with a fatty protein called an adjuvant, which boosts the body’s response to the vaccine.

All I know is that two years ago, I took a pilates class next to a woman who was bragging she had received her Shingrex vax that very day. I came down with a wicked case of Shingles two days later. Coincidence? Also… that woman, who had been a consistent 3x a week class member, has not been seen since and no one knows why.
I’d rather take Lysine tablets than vaccines.
