Wow, Arkansas and the deep South is going to get plowed up. It takes a lot of water to mine lithium and messes with the eco system, hope they’re ready. Lithium is described as the White Gold Rush, the next oil.

The lithium reported in Arkansas is in the Smackover Formation located between 1,400 feet and 24,000 feet below ground level. It will likely be ‘mined’ via fluid injections into wells and pumped out in slurry. Think of oil well like production.
