bagpipes ? how does one know when a the pipes are out of tune ?
bagpipes ? invented by the same folks who invented golf ?
bunch of torturers
Fully disagree and I’ve been a musician since 5th grade and still march yearly with my university alumni marching band. I also have a very famous first cousin who has won more than a dozen Grammys who I’m certain he would agree with me. It’s a Scottish/Irish thing. You can’t listen to amazing Grace or Danny boy without the pipes.
Bagpipes played Amazing Grace at my friend’s funeral several years ago. He passed the same day that my dad did. That was the trigger that let me release all the pent up emotion of the whirlwind of funeral events - the music just brought me to the reality that this was the loss of both. Snapped me out of my shock and let me grieve for a bit.

No, I respectfully disagree.
Those pipes are the finest invention known to humankind; and in the hands of a master player, they are exquisite.
