My deck was painted by a contractor who apparently hired day workers at Home Depot. I’m convinced they had never held a paintbrush before. They did a horrible, messy job.

That truly is a pity, and difficult to repair.
It does reming me of a joke, however...
(Dumb Blonde Joke Alert)
A man had a back porch that needed painting and he had a blonde, single mother neighbor that could use some extra money.
He purchased the paint and brushes and asked the woman if she would like to paint his porch.
“Sure,” she said “I can do it this afternoon.”
Later that day she showed up in older clothes that were just right for painting. The man, working on his computer on the front porch, informed her that to get to the porch she just could follow the driveway and motioned towards it with his hand.
After just a bit more than an hour the woman came back to the front porch smiling.
“Are you done?” the man asked.
“Ya, it was easy and there was enough paint left over so I painted your Lexus, too”
