My neighborhood was built by illegal laborers and I can verify that. Our HOA even won a $1M lawsuit against the builder for shoddy construction. Things like my air conditioner wired to my neighbor’s compressor (discovered when the neighbor moved out and turned off their utilities). The hot water valve not turned on in one of my bathtubs (requiring a plumber to bust through the drywall). Nails driven through a HVAC overflow pipe, which then leaked into a neighbors garage. Patios that will not drain. And one neighbor had hot water piped to their toilet.

When people were moving in while some buildings were still under construction, they had several instances where appliances were installed on one day, and the next day they would comeback to find all the appliances had been stolen. One of my neighbors received his keys and went in to drop off ceiling fans and window treatment to install himself. Came back the next day and they had all been stolen.

There are many Youtube videos by home inspectors pointing out the shoddy construction of million dollar homes. What is left unsaid is who is actually doing the construction. Major contractors use the cheapest labor available, and those workers do not understand English, nor do they have any concept of doing their job to a high standard.

Piping hot water to a terlet is the definition of a Royal Flush. Should make for a pleasant foot wash? Rent that space to a muzzie family——they’ll use it as a bath tub?
