***I don’t trust Vance either because I have no details about how he made his 180° turn in his opinion and newfound support for President Trump***

I don't necessarily agree. Before Trump moved into the White House, the media was doing its trash talk of him. With no first handed experience with Trump as a world leader, it was easier to see him as a TV showman.

The classic example was Glenn Beck, although there were others. Beck nearly lost everything when his 'faithful' audience turned on him. He later saw how wrong he had been and is now a staunch Trump fan.

You and I didn't fall for all that trash talk about Trump; however, I understand how some did. What I can't understand is how, after all this water under the bridge - water that became sewage - many of those same people still prefer the sewage over the evidence of their eyes, and their pocketbooks. 🤷 ...and I am not referring to the Deep State whores like the Cheney's.

I would have said that your analyses were improbable before, but you both may be correct. I might have given the Becks and Vances of the world too much credit in assuming that, because they operate on the world stage, they’re smarter, vastly more informed, and definitely more sophisticated than I am; therefore they must know what I know, but are against it for whatever reasons. It’s ironic that, in order to give them a pass for their past views about PDJT, I have to “dumb them down” in my mind and estimation.

There are so many people including some here on FR that weren’t Trump supporters until he proved to be the best President since Washington. I simply don’t see that Vance becoming a Trump supporter to be so out of line. I don’t expect anyone including Vance to justify their change of opinion on Trump but I have no doubt that Trump has studied Vance.

People can and do change viewpoints and opinions when they see reality. Trump was a Democrat, so was Reagan. They changed. Trump admitted in an interview on TS I saw with some guy whose name I can’t remember, that he made some mistakes with some appointees in his first term, as he was not familiar with a lot of people. But that now he is. If he thinks JD Vance will be a good VP, then that’s enough for me. I see nothing i what Vance has said recently or anything he’s said in the past that gives me pause.

My goodness, I was a hardcore anarchist type when I was young...
