After years of decline, Americans’ health appears to be on the upswing.
The US has historically been behind its peers when it comes to rates of chronic conditions, addiction, diseases and lifespan, despite allocating the highest share of its national income to health expenditures.
But new data from the CDC and other leading health agencies shows a number of health markers are beginning to improve - including cancer mortality, drug overdoses, obesity rates and life expectancy.
Because we are wising up to food additives?
Or the average is rising because the left side of the bell curve has been being thinned out over the last 4 years...

You would be right if people are cooking from scratch more and eliminating the highly processed foods with all the additives. I remember in the summer and autumn of 2020, flours, yeast and many cooking/baking supplies were scarce on the shelves of grocers. It would be nice if people continued that approach to food preparation when covid was over and they didn’t have quite so much time on their hands. It’s also possible that we’ve learned there are cures for cancers, etc. and we’re sourcing the inexpensive but highly effective medicines ourselves - fenbendazole, mebendazole, ivermectin, malunggay/moringa, etc.
