Brooklyn??

Wallingford, CT? I’ve seen a bunch of concerts there but never knew they had good BBQ.

Texas BBQ disappointment me- was always a bit dry. I preferred Alabama and Mississippi BBQ but the best places in Mobile closed down.

That one is new. If you take in shows at Oakdale, best take out grinders/Italian at Rosa’s Deli, across from Holy Trinity Church/train station. She’s not open late.

My disappointment was Charlotte, too mustardy.

The best BBQ I have eaten was many years ago, 60 years ago, near Cut&Shoot Texas. A black gentleman had a rather shabby road side BBQ joint. My grandfather always stopped there for BBQ. It was the best. That man knew how to cook!

You are eating in the wrong BBQ stand. If it is a chain BBQ place avoid it, but Rudy's is not bad. The small local BBQ stands make the best. Much like in New Orleans for good Cajun food. The Mom and Pop stores make the best at a reasonable price. Their customers are locals and if they do not like it, they will tell the cook that is across the counter from them.
