I wish there was a good “healthy” substitute that I could offer you to consider, but I can’t think of one.

When I want something crunchy, instead of chips, I eat carrot sticks or celery or an apple.

When I want something sweet, I try to go for fruit, like mango or strawberries.

But a bacon cheeseburger? Nothing fits the bacon fix. You can eat a bit of cheese. Maybe even topped with a small piece of bacon. Wrap it around lettuce and at least you don’t have the calories from the bun. That’s a start.

Cravings can be very difficult.

Good luck.

My own experience has been that I feel the best when I eat a diverse variety of foods. I have many friends who have tried many different diets which restrict their intake of entire food groups such as carbohydrates or on the other side of the spectrum... meat or fish. I have never known anyone who this worked out for well in the long term.

You are much better off if you eat an occasional fast food meal or some candy as long as you eat a variety of other foods as well and stay active. People who eat a bunch of crap and then do nothing but lay or sit around all day in front of a computer or other electronic devices are headed for trouble.
