These early Indigenous North Americans were ultimately ( killed off ) replaced by the Thule Inuit, who arrived from the continent’s West coast sometime in the 13th century.
Don’t know if they were killed off, or simply run out of the area, or a combination of both. Weaker historic tribes that were defeated or run out of their territory often merged into larger groups further away from their enemies.
