The board of elections in North Carolina removed 747,000 individuals from voter rolls over the past 20 months because they are ineligible for registration.
The State Board of Elections said in a press release people were removed from the rolls due to moving to another state, dying, or personally requesting to be removed, according to The Hill.
This purge happened shortly after Republicans in North Carolina filed a lawsuit arguing that there were a number of people on the voter rolls not eligible to vote.
North Carolina is expected to be a swing state in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
In the lawsuit, a resident in Wake County stated voter registration forms in the county didn't require a driver's license or social security numbers.
“By failing to collect certain statutorily required information prior to registering these applicants to vote, Defendants placed the integrity of the state’s elections into jeopardy,” the lawsuit reads.
This will panic the democRATs.
Gotta make room for the illegals.

Awesome, best news I have heard today.
Wanna bet not? My Bull$hittery detector shows Eleven on the scale. I suspect just words.
It’s been a hard-hitting democrat program to register out-of-state college students to vote locally. There is no doubt that many of them have voted at the school locations locally and back at home. Once they graduate and move away, their stagnant registrations remain. Without a way to police these registrations and the addresses, they are just a single weak point nationally. It’s good NC has taken steps to extinguish non-compliant registrations.
“or personally requesting to be removed”
To me, that’s a red flag. How many of these were R vs D? Who does that? Why not just stick to those moved away or died? How does this 747,000 break down?
The same with snowbirds who have a home in Florida and a home in a northern state. I’ve always thought that some of these people voted twice. If they ever get caught, it will be a “first offense“ and nothing will happen to them. I doubt Republicans do this.
“Gotta make room for the illegals.”

You are correct. The out of state university students are who turn Wade County blue. They also voted multiple times in 2020. They did this by mailing in ballots they received from former students in the apartments around the university. We know this was done for a fact because a family member had to file a provisional ballot in 2020. According to the people at the poll she had already voted by mail, TWICE! She presented ID and claimed she had not voted yet. We found out later both ballots came from old apartment addresses from college. When she moved, she cleaned out her mailbox and found six mail in ballots in it for six different individuals. So removing people from the roles is huge.
“...people were removed from the rolls due to moving to another state, dying, or personally requesting to be removed”
That’s a good start, but that’s the low-hanging fruit. But what about the 500 registered at one address? What about all the illegals registered to vote?
This article and your point about transient students makes the strong case that ALL voter rolls should be wiped clean every four years after the election. Then EVERYBODY would have to re-register IN PERSON with valid ID (passport, birth certificate, driver license) before the next election.
It is a fools errand to try to clean up the rolls. They can never be thoroughly cleaned.
She mentioned that this year, you have to request a mail in ballot in NC, they are not sending them out randomly. I suspect Trump takes NC by a larger margin this time. Harder to cheat.
Wasn’t this one of the States that had 130+ year old voters on the rolls?
Makes you wonder how much of a “swing” State they really were.
I believe that:
1) Voter rolls should be cleared out the day after a presidential inauguration. Closed and a new, blank voter roll started.
2) Votor rolls should utilize distributed ledger technology to protect the rolls from unauthorized changes.
3) The first people on the new rolls should be the Sec of State and the county clerks/registers.
4) All voters should be required to re-register to vote
5) All voters should be verified as residents of the State and citizens of the United States to receive a ballot
6) The voter rolls are closed 30 days before an election, meaning there are no additions to the voter rolls, but they are opened back up the following business day.
7) All political parties in the state receive a copy of the voter roll
8) The individual who adds someone to the voter roll is tracked in the ledger
We have yet to receive our ballots.
College students who have moved on.
That fact that I have not heard any screeches of disenfranchisement or racism or anything else makes me suspect that this "purge" doesn't mean anything at all.
I thought I read an article a few weeks ago about a country or sector that removed a bunch of invalid names off the rolls ... only to see them reappear on the rolls later on. Anybody else remember that?
I agree. I am watching for a leftist cry fest and am not seeing it.
Will all our new neighbors from the far ends of the earth be able to sight their 5-star hotel as their residence?
