The point is you can’t, and you resort to childish name calling.
Countless people have been killed by hardened criminals released by virtue-signaling judges who cared more for their self-righteous credentials than the consequences of their actions.
If these criminals could be really kept behind bars for the rest of their lives that would be a solution to the problem. But they can’t because of those judges. So society can either preserve the life of killers, or their victims. But not both.
