How do we know the witches were not real? Of course secular people and atheists don't believe in any supernatural beings.

But presumably most Freepers are Christians of some type. So we already believe in God, and that presumably also means believing in angels, including fallen angels and demons under Satan.

So why is everyone so sure there was no demonic witchcraft going on in Salem in 1692?
