When I started at the hospital I had to get a bunch of vaccines updated because I either never had them, or I couldn’t prove that I had gotten them and my blood work was inconclusive. And the funny thing is that I rarely went near any patients. I was mostly in a bunker-like room in the basement next to the morgue.

But I dont think we ever forced a vax on a patient when I was there. I know they were offered if the patient wanted them…but the docs and nurses were not running around with a cart of vaccines looking to get a $3 insurance payment for a shot. That would not be a good or profitable use of their time. Anyone suggesting that does not understand how insurance/medicare/medicaid reimbursement works.

I heard that California has made it legal for hospitals to deny treatment to anyone who has not been “fully” vaccinated. Apparently this young woman had not had any further vaccines after she had an adverse reaction to a series as an infant. Sounds to me like an excellent reason to stay out of California.
