So... because others devalue life, you do to? Why stop there? Where do you draw the line? If you don't draw the line at innocents, why pretend you have a line at all?
Hamas-niks deserve, even their innocents, all the worst.
There it is. Your opinion that even their innocents "deserve" all the worst says a lot about you. That word innocent doesn't mean what you deem it to. Just come out and say it, "anyone I deem undesirable deserves all the worst."
You're known by the company you keep.
So, guilt by association. How communal of you. Imagine posting that on Free Republic, named in honor of a republic with the right of free association. Posting it on a site named in honor of a republic which sent it's sons to fight and die in a war in Europe to protect people who were told, "You must be guilty because you belong to that group. Here, wear this star. Get on that train."
It's also guilt by proximity, a tactic used by tyrannical regimes. You're guilty because you happen to be standing next to a criminal. Such respect for individual rights. Hope it's never used against you.
How ridiculous and besides the point. There is a war. Civilians die in war. It is normal, expected, accepted and has always been. That is why war is so terrible.
Hamas and Hezbollah brought war upon themselves and many innocents pay the price. It is not up to Israel to be slaughtered so no “innocents” will die. War is a dirty business but when one’s existence is under attack that dirty business cannot be shirked. Taking out the enemy, ending the war is the point of the exercise. The exploding pagers took a lot of the enemy out of the conflict.
Don’t try your “everyone is wonderful” crap on me. You are a very sick individual who lives to try and guilt people into acting as you desire. Because Hamas and similar groups devalue life, their own lives mean nothing to them. But that does not give them the right to pass their attitude on to innocent people with a different viewpoint. It has been shown that there are no innocents in Gaza; many non-combatants retained Israeli prisoners for Hamas, killed Israeli prisoners for Hamas, and other heinous acts. So they are guilty by association, yes. And must pay the ultimate penalty for the suffering they inflicted on the immediately killed and those taken as hostages. And the families of same. Israel does not have the luxury of philosophizing as you apparently do. With them, it’s their very survival. There is no room for error or niceties. Putting the recipients of those pagers out of commission means less deaths inflicted by those recipients. And that will have to do, when they have proven harmful, for no valid reason, to Israelis.
